6. PAYMENT AND ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Prices for all Products are displayed in Canadian dollars and exclude any and all applicable taxes, unless expressly stated otherwise. You are responsible for the payment of any applicable taxes, whether or not they are listed on your receipt or statement. If you purchase Products, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes (if any) set forth in the offer you accepted using a valid credit card (or other forms of payment that Uni-Select accept). Uni-Select reserves the right, upon prior notice to you, to change the amount of any fees and to institute new fees.

Uni-Select reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for any reason. Uni-Select may also require additional verification or information before accepting any order. All authorized charges will be billed to your designated credit card account (or other payment methods), on the terms described in the specific offer. If payment cannot be charged to your credit card or your payment is returned to Uni-Select for any reason, Uni-Select reserves the right to either suspend or terminate your access to the website and/or the unpaid-for Products.

It is your responsibility to ensure that sufficient funds are available to cover the charges for the Products. Uni-Select has no liability for any overdraft or other fees that you may incur as a result of Uni-Select processing your payment. Uni-Select will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your credit card has been charged, Uni-Select will issue a credit to you in the amount of the charge.

7. PRODUCT SAFETY

Automotive parts, equipment, and accessories require careful and proper use, installation, inspection, and maintenance for proper performance. Uni-Select is not responsible and will not be held liable for any harm or damages you may incur as the result of improper, illegal, unsafe, or otherwise incorrect use, installation, inspection, or fitment of any Product.

8. PRODUCT IMAGES

Uni-Select uses electronic images in reference to certain products we make available for sale through the website. Uni-Select does not warrant that any particular product image on display fully and completely represents the exact appearance and makeup of that associated product. Product images may represent different iterations of available products, which may differ in terms of exact appearance, available features, design, or configuration. Products' particular colorings may differ slightly from their appearance in product images displayed on the website. Uni-Select reserves the right to display "boilerplate," generic, or otherwise representational images in reference to available Products.

9. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. While Uni-Select’s website may contain indicative tools as to whether a certain Product is compatible with a stock model of your vehicle, we make no representations as to the compatibility of any part with any vehicle. It is your responsibility to consult the specifications of your vehicle’s OEM and the part to ensure compatibility. You may also contact your local store to validate part compatibility before your purchase.

If you would like to return an item, please visit the location where the purchase was made. Our on-site team will be happy to assist you with the return process.

Uni-Select Discretion

Uni-Select reserves the right to deny any exchange or return. Please do not install damaged or incorrect items, as doing so will void our return policy. Any parts that have been modified, installed, or damaged in any way by the customer may result in denial of a refund and/or exchange.

1. Returned parts must be in "as new" condition and shipped or returned in their original packages at the location where the purchase was made. The part must be returned in person or shipped back at your expense in packaging that ensures safe shipping. We cannot issue a credit for items that return to our facility damaged, or for items that have been partially or fully installed or painted. Proper shipping and associated cost are the responsibility of the customer.

2. The original invoice, or a copy, must be presented with the item.

3. Our return policy provides 30 days from the date of the original invoice to return items.

4. Refunds will be issued, by credit using the same payment method used for the purchase once we have inspected the part(s). Exceptions will apply for parts that were received damaged or stocked incorrectly.

5. All refunds will be processed once merchandise has been returned to Uni-Select. Please allow 5-7 business days for the refund to be posted to your account.

Core Returns

Old or failed parts such as batteries, alternators, starters, CV shafts, brake calipers, distributors, and engine blocks may contain a "core" or recyclable component. These cores can be provided to the manufacturer for rebuilding or recycling. Those parts may have a core price that is used as a deposit on the portion of the part that can be remanufactured, which is designed to encourage the return of the old part and could save you money on replacement parts.

The core charge (or deposit), is the additional charge you pay until you return your old part, at which time it is refunded. If you don't have the core at the time of purchase, you must pay the core charge.

A core must be returned in person. The process of returning a core is the same as for a regular part, with the exception of the 30-day limit, as outlined above.

10. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

Products sold by Uni-Select typically have a manufacturers’ limited warranty extended to the original purchaser to cover conditions that are reasonably considered to have been within the manufacturers’ control. All warranties applicable are listed on Uni-Select’s website, or included with the Product, as applicable.

Warranty requests may be submitted to Uni-Select in store only. In Uni-Select’s sole discretion, warranty requests submitted to Uni-Select may be, transferred to the manufacturer/supplier by Uni-Select on behalf of the consumer, or Uni-Select will direct the consumer to a nearby manufacturer address, to obtain service directly. All requirements and conditions of a warranty claim are at the discretion of the manufacturer/supplier. All claims will be approved or denied at the discretion of the manufacturer/supplier. Uni-Select cannot override the warranty decision made by the manufacturer/supplier in any scenario.

Uni-Select will not compensate or cover any duties, shipping fees, or installation fees incurred for warranty claims.

11. DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IF YOU ARE A CONSUMER subject to Quebec’S CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT (CQLR C P-40.1), THIS SECTION DOES NOT AFFECT THE LEGAL WARRANTY PROVIDED under section 34 to 54 of such act.
