CHECKERED FLAG FOR KEVIN LACROIX!
LACROIX FINDS VICTORY LANE IN THE INAUGURAL STOP IN NEW HAMPSHIRE
Bumper to Bumper’s driver, Kevin Lacroix, just made history by winning the Inaugural NASCAR Pinty’s Race in New Hampshire. After a rough start on Friday where our team couldn’t find the right setups for the practice, Kevin managed to qualify 2nd for the race.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Once the green flag dropped on Saturday, it only took 10 laps for Kevin to take the lead, where he stayed for the remaining 89 laps. He managed to create a 5-second gap on the rest of the field. “Towards the end of the race, I was nervous about running out of fuel so I stopped pushing to make sure I would have enough gas to finish the race.’’ Says Kevin. He finished with a 5.3-second gap on the runner-up, but the important thing was to finish the race! Kevin adds: “Total and Bumper to Bumper came to the race on Saturday night. I would like to thank them for their involvement with me and the series.”
